Following highly successful events in New Zealand in 2008 and France in 2010; the Third International Blackcurrant Conference will be held in Dundee, Scotland from 16-18 May 2012.
It is being hosted by the International Blackcurrant Association and The James Hutton Institute in association with Glaxo SmithKline and Mylnefield Research Services Ltd.

Early bird rate of £225 available if booked before 28 February 2012.
Standard registration rate of £250 will apply after this date.
Accompanying guest registration available at the same rates.
What's included?
Registration for conference delegates and accompanying guests includes:
Tea/coffee breaks and lunches on the three days of conference.
Civic reception in Dundee City Chambers.
Conference dinner at Fingask Castle.
Ceilidh and barn dance hosted by Adamston Farms.
Technical visit to either Bruce Farms (an important blackcurrant grower) or Mackays (local manufacturer of high quality blackcurrant jams and other fruit preserves) as well as a visit to The James Hutton Institute to hear about the latest research on blackcurrants.
Optional visit to a local whisky distillery.
Transport from Edinburgh airport, if booked via online booking service.
In addition, day tours are available for accompanying delegates to St Andrews on Wednesday 16 May and to Glamis Castle on Thursday 17 May.
