Title:

SEB's Cell Symposium 2011, Exocytosis in animals, fungi and plants

Where:

London, UK

Start Date:

Monday 19th September

Description:

The focus of this intensive two-day meeting will be molecular mechanisms of exocytosis in animals, fungi and plants, including formation of exocytotic carriers, delivery to PM, tethering/docking and fusion. Comparative inquiry into similarities and differences between animals, fungi and plants will help to elucidate exocytotic machinery working in LECA.

Invited speakers include:

Patrick Brennwald (UNC, USA)

Dirk Fasshauer (University of Lausanne, CH)

David Ehrhardt (Carnegie Inst. for Sci., USA)

Jussi Jäntti (University of Helsinky, Finland)

Mary Munson (Umass Medical School, Worcester, USA)

Silke Robatzek (JIC, Norwich, UK)

Ulrike Homann (TU Darmstadt, Germany)

Scientific Organizer:

Viktor Zarsky, Department of Experimental Plant Biology, Charles University Prague
