Agri-Tech East Pollinator: Farmer-Innovator Speed-Dating – New innovations in yield protection and enhancement

Harpenden, UK

Start Date:

Thursday 14th May

14 May 2015, Rothamsted Research, Harpenden, Hertfordshire, AL5 2JQ

Septoria is a primary target for wheat growers as it can result in yield losses of up to 50% in severely affected crops, but recent trials have shown that a new adjuvant has the potential to improve fungicidal effectiveness, increase green leaf area and reduce fungicide costs.

Maintaining yields while reducing input costs is the ‘holy grail’ of farming and this Pollinator brings together leading experts to discuss how new developments in adjuvants and improved spray strategies can help achieve this goal.

Following the presentations there will be an opportunity for assisted networking in a ‘speed-dating’ format to ensure that delegates maximise the benefit of attendance.

This event is for anyone developing new inputs to promote crop performance in the field, including growth stimulants, soil conditioners, dust suppressants and pest management. If you are a farmer, grower or agronomist, this is a chance to hear about the latest new innovations, and understand better the pipeline of discovery that is bringing new ideas to the field.

Who should attend: Farmers and growers, Agronomists, Researchers and innovators, SMEs and start-ups.

This Pollinator will be chaired by Robert Smith, Russell Smith Farms.
